What if we just say Jesus, our Lord & Savior, was Jewish and that He said we should love our neighbor which means everyone?
God loves us and wills us into being so every life matters to God. Jesus also tells us we should treat others as we want to be treated. That means we reverence everyone and give them the respect due each person because of their inherent dignity as children of God. We are brothers and sisters in the Lord.
That pretty much covers it, I’d say! Let us pray for the day when we are United in love and divisiveness is ended. Be humble and kind, like the song says…
