I have been visiting family (last week) and then arrived home sick (Sunday). I am still recovering, but on the mend. Sorry for the delay.
So today our prayer and fasting focus is on the entire Democratic House of Representatives. See the story link below to find out why. I would specifically point to the Speaker of the House who is the leader, after all. Though on moral matters, it shouldn’t matter who is in charge or “leading.” People should always vote as their consciences dictate to them individually any time they vote, even in Congress. Of course a “well formed conscience” is required.
Again, praying for those who persecute us, or for individuals/organizations who are unaware of the ways their decisions injure others, is something Jesus expects of us and is something He did Himself from the cross on Calvary. So, let us pray. Let us pray for those who “know not what they do.” May they come to know the Truth (that’s Jesus) and the Truth will set them free and then they will be able to see what truly needs to be done to create Heaven on Earth.
Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Saves us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy. Amen.
