Posting again, with great sadness and concern. Let us pray for the families of the little victims in Texas and of the two teachers who perished. Rest in Peace. And for all the survivors who are traumatized by the experience, especially the classmates of these children, let us pray for them. . Lord have mercy. God, heal the survivors and loved ones with Your grace and peace.

Drowning in Lemonade

This is my blog entry from back in October and it has 130 plus views. But only after I recently posted on my Facebook page, the day after the recent, horrific Florida school shootings. I want us to think about this. It is about mental health, but its also about our spiritual well-being, and it is about taking care of each other. Ultimately, it’s has to do with love of others. So I’m sharing it again.  I hope more people will read and consider it. Please share it if you think it’s worth discussing.
There are questions about our culture with regard to gunmen whose internal struggle leads to violence that we need to ask ourselves, and that we need to discuss with one another to end the heinous form of gun violence that mass murder is.

Where is hope? Where is love? Where is mercy and compassion? Or empathy…

  1. I just watched pet of Governor Abbot’s press conference. The shooter apparently had no mental health or legal problems they can determine at this time. So what you’re saying rings true. Another spiritually and emotionally troubled young man with no one to turn to.
