I don’t have a lot to add to the lyrics of this music video of Matthew West’s “You Are Known.” It’s just true. God sees you, every day, and loves you more than you can comprehend.
Your prayers from the heart go straight to God’s heart. Let God have all of you – your fears, your frustrations, your loneliness, your heartache, your joys, your sorrows, your gratitude. And always remember to be grateful because you are here. Where there is life, there is hope.
To be known is to be loved. That’s what Matthew reminds us of in this wonderful, upbeat song. I know some of you are anxious right now, or sad, or lonely. But God never leaves you alone. Talk to Him (that’s prayer). Even in our sheltered lives (right now) that many of us are forced to endure, don’t let go of the hope that we have in our Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is with you through it all. Lean on God, surrender to the One who loved you into being and never lets you out of His sight.
God’s got you; God’s got this whole situation well in hand. It’s about trusting in God’s ultimate goal for us. Any tears here will be not even a distant memory some glorious, Heavenly day! So, go forward in confidence that God’s got this.
Here’s a favorite quote of mine: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” – Psalm 27:1
Say this over and over again. Believe it. I do! God bless you with His Peace!
