the muscles in his limbs are so massive it is almost surreal
beautiful surreal
it’s a young man dancing and the
blue veins that run through
the sculptured stone become
his veins and he is
alive
rejoicing dancing
he’s carrying the Scrolls upon
his rock hard shoulder
the promises of God are all
Lives and all he knows
this man statue
he holds the certainty of the vindication
of the prophets –
this stone from the wall of David
the veins carry blood-that’s blue until
It touches the air
he’s dancing, and on his shoulder
Is the rolled parchment
The Law
touch the stone with
your hands,
don’t be afraid
he’ll dance in your dreams
(his hope will be your hope)
